Forgotten Chronicles: Göbekli Tepe
Run one season of excavation at Göbekli Tepe — the 11,000-year-old carved pillars, the quarry, the radiocarbon bench and the nine-tenths of the hill nobody has dug — and learn to read a site without destroying it.

⛏️ A text game you play by talking to Grok. You run one season of excavation at Göbekli Tepe, the 11,000-year-old hill of carved T-shaped pillars in southeastern Türkiye. The site, its dates, its finds and its open questions are real; your crew, your trenches and your season are invented. You get a numbered menu every turn, and you can always type something of your own instead.
People with flint tools and no pottery, wheel or writing raised five-metre carved stones some six thousand years before Stonehenge, and only about a tenth of the hill has been dug. You get a trowel and twenty dig-days to work the real evidence:
- The two faceless 5.5-metre pillars of Building D, with belts and hands
- A seven-metre pillar still lying in its quarry bed
- Seven thousand grinding stones and cisterns cut into bedrock
- Fragments of three carved human skulls from the fill
A layer you dig is a layer that is gone, so record it or lose it. Type "fact" any time and the game breaks character to say what is documented, where researchers disagree, and what was invented. An honest report with a question left for better tools is the strongest finish.
Every scene quietly composes a full media set you can picture or save, and saved scenes become AI-generated reenactment films at momatio.
